If you weren't a DJ, what would you be?
Without a doubt, a teacher. Actually I was a teacher for a few years before a radio station rep heard me teaching and offered me an on-air job. I liked both professions so much that I taught during the day, and did radio at night for a while.

Beatles, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Fleetwood Mac

The President of the USA ( ok...I'd also settle for being Johnny Depp's wife for a day!)

What was your favorite moment in radio?
Well, it's still haunting in a way, but was very rewarding as far as community service goes. I think it was 1979, in the Virgin Islands (where I grew up); we were threatened by a hurricane, and I stayed at the radio station for 24 hours working with Civil Defense, Ham Radio operators, and Police, coordinating and compiling information for broadcast. I'd alternate being on-air and info gathering with a co-worker. He and I received a Certificate of Commendation from the Governor, which I still treasure.

What band do you hate?
Can't think of a particular band I hate, but I won't listen to songs with lyrics that promote violence, hate, anti-women themes etc.
